Pista Ice Cream

Serves 2 persons
Ingredients
- 1/2 kg milk
- 1/2 kg fresh cream
- 1 cup sugar
- 50 gm pistachios sliced
- 1 tbsp cornflour
- 2 tsp gelatin powder
- 1 tsp kewra
- Few drops pistachio essence
Methods
- Boil milk in a saucepan.
- Now add sugar and cook for 5 minutes or until sugar is dissolved.
- Dissolve cornflour in little water.
- Gradually add corn flour paste into the pan.
- Keep stirring.
- Cook for 5 minutes or until sauce is thickened.
- Turn the heat off and let it cool completely.
- Then add prepared custard cream, vanilla essence, kewra and pistachio in milk mixture.
- Transfer into a air tight container.
- Freeze it for 24 hours.
- Peshawari Pista Ice Cream is ready to serve.
